In the end, it was kind of disappointing. Not all the glasses got filled, and it turned out that the substance being poured was actually watered down Champagne with just enough substance to make the bubbles. The stuff in the tower of glasses was not served, though we did get separate glasses of something champagne-like. Linda went off to buffet and returned with a huge plate of food.
