Namu - an Asian ( secretly Korean ) restaurant in San Francisco north of Golden Gate Park, offers nominally free food one day a month. It's mostly a marketing ploy to get people in to buy drinks, and it seems to work. The food on offer is nothing as good as you can get by paying,either.

These guys have some really good food, including a delicious rendition of okonomiyaki.
