It is really unfortunate that this dinner was not more well-attended.  Santa Cruz Aleworks has a decent portfolio of beers and is a very small production brewery.  Weather, holidays and perhaps a lack of advertising meant that we had just one small table of diners.

The verdict seems to be that though the beers are well made, they don't rise to the level of "interesting" needed for such a small brewery.  But I will trust that their beers are true to style when I see them on tap locally.
